SUPERDRUG is to move into a new store in Southampton's Above Bar, facing the entrance to the West Quay development.
It is taking over the shop currently occupied by Mothercare, which is moving out after Christmas.
The acquisition increases Superdrug's representation in the city centre, adding 3,500 sq ft sales area. It also provides additional space in the basement, of 3,800 sq ft and on the first floor of 3,400 sq ft. The premises are held on a lease for 25 years from June 1995, at a rent of £225,000 a year.
