TERRIFIC Townhill Park Junior School covered themselves in glory by winning the Southampton Primary Schools Kwik Cricket final at Hampshire's County Ground.
Townhill, whose delighted players are pictured here, made 251-2 mainly thanks to their Batsman of the Match Brenton de Wet. Calmore Juniors replied with a very creditable total of 232-4.
Kwik Cricket allows boys and girls to compete together and they play in every position when fielding including wicketkeeping as well as bowling an over each.
As well as Townhill and Calmore, the schools of Shirley, Bitterne Manor, Harefield, St Deny's, St Patrick's and Weston Park also took part in the league finals.
