SHAPE up for summer - that was the message from Gladiator Fox when she launched a new fitness campaign at Eastleigh.

The popular TV star threw her weight behind Commit to get Fit which aims to show people that exercise can be fun.

Blonde bombshell Fox turned heads when she flexed her pecs to promote the four-week fitness programme at Eastleigh's Fleming Park Leisure Centre.

But as well as shaping up, those taking part in the four-week charity event will help raise thousands of pounds for Muscular Dystrophy.

Centre spokeswoman Karen Toy said: "It's a chance for everyone to get fit and look good for the summer. It's a time when we all want to look our best. This programme is a relaxing way to get in shape without having to go hell for leather in the gym."

Participants are charged £35 to join the scheme that gives unlimited use of the sports centre's facilities. Points are awarded for each visit with the chance to bag some fitness goodies.

Nearly 40 people rushed to sign up for the cam-paign and a further 200 others have shown interest in taking part.
