ADAM GAUNT of North Baddesley Junior School has shown what a fast learner he is by gaining his black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the tender age of 11.
The youngster, who lives in North Baddesley, has been learning for five years at Eastleigh's VW Tae Kwon Do Club, under the expert tuition of instructors Val Winteridge and Shaun Jacobs, and qualified at a grading tournament in Hedge End.
His success in becoming a first dan in the Commonwealth Tae Kwon Do Association school of the sport, has been helped by his other athletic interests.
Learning gymnastics and dance has given him flexibility and agility, both essential to the fighting techniques used.
