TV STAR Charlie Dimmock will be making a splash on Sunday at Romsey Rotary Club's Picnic in the Park when she gets the charity duck race underway.

The event, in aid of Romsey mayor Sylvia Sherlock's chosen charities - Wessex Heartbeat, Cancer Care and the Romsey Hospital Appeal - promises to be a quacking day out for all the family. Don't worry if you haven't entered the race yet as more tickets will be available on the day, with a fluffy duck and £250 up for grabs.

Other attractions include a French food stall, Romsey Old Cadets Band, a bouncy castle, line-dancing, craft stalls, tombola and other competitions with top prizes such as a car and a mountain bike.

The Rotary Club of Romsey Test thanks all the people who have helped with the annual fundraiser and companies including Hampshire Waste Services and Paulton's Park who have contributed more than £3,000.
