THE father of a teenager who was killed when the motorcycle he was a pillion passenger on crashed, has urged other youngsters not to risk their lives in the same way.
An inquest into the deaths of Jamie Gosney, 15, and Lewis Grundy, 17, heard how the pair had been drinking and taken drugs before getting on a motorbike that was not roadworthy.
As they rode along Brownhill Way, Lordshill, Nursling, the bike, being ridden by Lewis, veered onto the wrong side of the road and into the path of an oncoming car being driven by Paul Galbraith, 28.
Mr Galbraith told Southampton Coroners Court of the moment the accident happened just after 11.20pm on January 21.
Southampton Coroner Keith Wiseman recorded a verdict of accidental death.
