SAINTS strikers Dexter Blackstock and Leon Best failed to fire a 'don't forget me' message to Harry Redknapp as the reserves suffered a 1-0 home loss to Watford at Staplewood.
With Redknapp's men having only scored three goals in their last five Championship matches, the two youngsters had a chance to show what they could do last night.
And though Blackstock won praise from reserve boss Stewart Henderson before he was replaced by Best - who has just recovered from a bout of mumps - neither could get on the scoresheet.
Best's night ended in misery when he was sent off for dissent - arguing with the referee as he walked off the pitch following the final whistle.
