TEST tubes in John Hanson School's laboratories are bubbling over with excitement at the news that the secondary school has launched its new status as a Specialist Science College.
To celebrate, the school had a special science-themed week -timetables were suspended for a day and replaced by special lessons in which students had the chance to find out how science affects all subjects.
