STAFF at the Hawk Conservancy are so concerned at the fight for survival of an almost extinct Asian vulture they are prepared to sleep with eggs produced by the last birds left in Europe.
The programme to save the oriental white backed vulture is reaching a critical stage but has been dealt a blow by the deaths of three birds at the conservancy.
