AN Andover resident is calling for the town centre's alcohol free zone to be extended to stop drinkers hanging around the River Anton footpath and intimidating passers-by.
John Smith, a South Street resident, claims there has been a problem all summer along the footpath, which comes out onto Bridge Street just outside the alcohol-free zone.
He claims people walking along the footpath are often blocked by badly-behaved drinkers.
