SAINTS snatched an injury time winner to fire themselves through to the FA Cup fifth round.
Kenwyne Jones, who had only been on the pitch seven minutes, capitalised on indecision in the Leicester defence to rifle home and give Saints a 1-0 win in stoppage time.
The match had looked as though it was heading to a replay.
The game at the Walkers Stadium was not action packed and up until that point the goalkeepers had to make just one save between them.
That was from Bartosz Bialkowski who stopped at the feet of Elvis Hammond as he charged through on goal.
George Burley gave full Saints debuts to new signings Jim Brennan and Darren Potter while Simon Gillett came on as a sub for a first team debut, the bad news a nasty looking injury that forced off David Prutton.
But Jones made sure that Saints will be in the fifth round draw on Monday with a late late winner.
Saints have released more first team players this weekend - see tonight's PINK for details, plus a full match report from Leicester.
