THE parents of a man killed in a car crash on a busy South-ampton road have paid tribute to their son.
Nathaniel Dudman, 24, died when the Citroen in which he was travelling collided with a Ford Mondeo at the junction of Southern Road and Mount-batten Way.
In a statement issued by Nathaniel's parents Linda and Glen Dudman, of Harnham, Salisbury, they said: "Nathaniel was always smiling, full of fun and the joy of life. His presence to many was likened to a shaft of sunlight on a dark cloudy day.
"Natty had many friends, who we know will miss him just as we already do. Nat will leave an enormous empty space in many people's lives.
"Nathaniel will be sorely missed by everybody he ever knew, yet will always remain with us in our hearts, minds and soul."
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision. Call the Eastleigh Road traffic collision unit on 0845 045 4545.
