BOSSES at a tennis club in Cheriton have applied for permission to rip up a grass court at the club and replace it with a hard surface for all-year-round tennis.
The Cheriton Tennis Club has asked Winchester's City Council's permission to change over the court surface, and install an addition mini-tennis court, new fencing and floodlights, and a replacement club hut, at the site on Cheriton Recreation Ground on the Westfield Road.
A decision on the matter is expected in March.
