More than 250 dads went back to school as Fair Oak Infant School staged it's ninth annual Bring A Dad to School Day.
This year's theme was "The Wonderful World of Work" with dads talking to the children about their jobs, volunteer work and hobbies. They were also invited to bring in items relating to their work, including equipment, uniform, tools and photos of their workplace - but no-one really expected a JCB to turn up.
Head teacher Hazel Shaw said: "It is lots of fun. I think the dads learn lots about the school and the children just love them coming in."
