TV favourite Angela Rippon, better known for journalism than acting, treads the boards for the first time at The Mayflower next week.
She joins a fabulous cast for Cole Porter's Anything Goes, including Michael Starke, best known for playing Barry Howard in Hi-De-Hi. .
The production features 15 classic songs including You're The Top, It's De-Lovely, I Get A Kick Out Of You, Blow Gabriel Blow and of course the title track Anything Goes.
Luxury ocean liner the S.S America sets sail for Europe with a cargo of colourful characters including millionaires, gangsters, stowaways, a beautiful debutante and a raunchy evangelist.
