CAMERON Mackintosh's new production of Boublil and Schnberg's legendary Miss Saigon began touring the UK in July 2004.

Boublil and Schnberg's soaring score and story are the same as the original production with a new breathtaking design developed to suit more theatres in the UK.

The first national UK tour of Miss Saigon, based on the original London production closed in December 2003 at The Mayflower.

Now it returns to The Mayflower for another four weeks.

Cameron Mackintosh has developed a new design concept with set designer Adrian Vaux and director Mitchell Lemsky, which is able to move quickly to most reasonably sized theatres while still spectacularly realising the storytelling of Boublil and Schnberg's musical. The new design encompasses some exciting innovations for the stage using cutting-edge visual techniques to recreate the streets of Vietnam and Bangkok.

Gerald Scarfe, designer for Pink Floyd's The Wall and Disney's Hercules, has also joined the design team to create his own inimitable take on the show-stopping number, The American Dream.

It runs until April 1.

Tickets from £14.50.
