We had one reader call in who thought the idea of ostrich polo was animal cruelty.
But we are happy to assure her and others that the article about the head of Marwell Zoo James Cretney and his ambitions for ostrich polo, are far-fetched.
James featured in Saturday's Echo explaining how his vision for ostrich polo had developed from a trip to South Africa five years ago.
This story didn't have a ring of truth to it. In fact, we've given it the bird!
