STUDENTS have been learning how to juggle in an effort to increase their brainpower and help with their studies.
Research shows that using both the left and right side of your brain at the same time is the most effective way to learn and build stronger brain connections - and this can be achieved by learning to juggle.
Year 11 pupils at Aldworth Science College gave juggling a go during a workshop with Wayne Middlemiss from Quantum Training Group.
Throughout the day, students alternated juggling sessions with learning various studying skills, including how to make effective notes, produce mind-maps and improve memory techniques.
Gareth Moores, assistant headteacher, said: "It was brilliant. The students have gone away and taken on board the serious aspects of it, such as studying skills and motivational tips. It was fun and they learned some really important things."
