MEMBERS of Totton University for the Third Age (U3A) are celebrating after they were awarded £2,370 from lottery funds.
The money will be used to provide equipment and support for new learning groups, such as art and philosophy, for the over 50s across the Totton area.
The group, which meets at the Hanger Farm Arts Centre, off Aikman Lane, currently has 76 members and is appealing for more.
Anyone over 50 who is no longer in full-time employment and is interested in joining should contact Sheila on 023 8087 4874 extension 855.
