THE lads and lasses of St Vincent's College in Gosport are floating on a frisbee.
They have done their county proud by coming third and seventh in the World Beach Frisbee Championship.
The event was held in the beautiful Italian resort of Rimini.
They were up against more than 100 teams from around the world in what the frisbee cognoscenti recognise to be the biggest tournament of its kind.
But it was the two under-20 teams from St Vincent College in Gosport who brought glory back to Hampshire.
Thunder Catch, the St Vincent Ultimate Frisbee Team, are also now the proud holders of the Indoor Frisbee Junior National title after winning that competition too.
Team coach, Mark Smith, said: "I have been playing for ten years and never experienced such a great atmosphere as the one at this competition.
"It has been a fantastic weekend and we have all made lots of new friends."
St Vincent will now host the Outdoor Junior National Championship on July 1 and 2.
