Hampshire prospect Adam Rouse is all set for a smashing summer with the bat and gloves after landing a full two-year equipment sponsorship deal with Smasher Sports.

The Basingstoke & North Hants teenager, pictured right, who scored a Hampshire League century aged 12 last summer, is one of the county's hottest properties.

"It's almost unique for a kid of Adam's age to land a cricket sponsorship like this - but it just underlines how highly rated he is," explained Smasher agent Darren Vann.

West Indies Test star Chris Gayle, Pakistan pair Shoab Akhtar and Salman Butt are among the top international players who also use Smasher Sports equipment.
