SPORTING stars joined former Saints manager Lawrie McMenemy for a round of golf in aid of the Hampshire Autistic Society.
Footballers past and present including Alan Ball, Matt Le Tissier, Nick Holmes, Claus Lundekvam and Paul Walsh along with ex-cricketers Robin Smith and Adi Aymes teed off at the East Horton Golf Club near Bishop's Waltham this week to raise money for the Whiteley-based charity.
Comedian Mike Osman was master of ceremonies at a dinner in the evening when a signed England shirt was among the auction items for the 80-odd golfers.
Lawrie, pictured fifth from right, who is fundraising president of the Hampshire Autistic Society, said: "The society has to raise a lot of money each year and they look at people like us to help. East Horton have been wonderful hosts."
