T was a football dream come true for dedicated Saints fan Kevin Lendon.

Playing on the hallowed St Mary's turf in a charity match was something that the 45-year-old West End man will never forget.

Which is a good job, as his photographic memories of that wonderful footballing day were stolen along with a laptop from Kevin's Mitsubishi truck in Hornbeam Gardens, West End.

The laptop also contains irreplaceable family pictures.

Kevin lined up with former Saints David Puckett and Ian Juryeff for the match which was organised by Football Aid in a "Live the Dream" event. Playing for the other team was former Saints star Gordon Watson.

As well as raising money for charity, Football Aid makes dreams come true for fans who long to experience a day in the life of a professional footballer.

Kevin, who is married with four children, said: "It was a dream come true. But the gloss was taken off the day when my laptop was taken. There were about 50 or 60 pictures taken by the family."

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to ring 0845 045 4545.
