EVERGREENS: On Bank Holiday Monday, the Evergreens visited the Chelsea Pensioners Home and met former Sherfield resident John Owen.

FETE: Plans for our village fete are coming together and a recent meeting has finalised the programme. The raffle will include a prize of a hot air balloon ride and the fete will be opened with a parade of vintage cars. Attractions include a motorcycle display team and an inflatable rock climbing wall.
This will take place on June 10, on the village green, from 12.30pm.
NWR: Had an enjoyable day on Sunday, May 7, when a group met for a walk round Exbury Gardens. They met up with old friends Gail and John Bannister, and enjoyed a picnic by the river.

LODDON Players: Following the success of Day of Reckoning, the Loddon Players will be reading plays through the summer.
