ANNUAL parish assembly: Come along to the Village Club on Monday, at 7.15pm. This is effectively the annual general meeting for Kingsclere Ltd.
The keynote speakers will be Zorayna O'Donnell, the ASBO manager in the borough, Ben Taylor, our new rural police inspector, and Douglas Gould, a community safety officer. They will answer questions from the audience on public order and anti-social behaviour issues.
You can also raise items of concern about what is happening in Kingsclere.
VILLAGE reporter: Is there anyone out there who would like to take over this report?
I feel that now I am chairman of the parish council I must hand on some of my other tasks. Give me a bell if you are interested.
THE Hook: The company developing The Hook for new housing has asked to present its revised plans to the parish council. This will be at the next parish council meeting which will be on Monday, May 22, at the usual time.
