ELECTION result: Last week's borough council election in Hatch Warren and Beggarwood resulted in Cllr Phil Heath being re-elected.
The details are: Cllr Heath 1,460 votes, the Lib-Dem candidate 404 votes, the Labour Party candidate 249 votes.
FUN day: Hatch Warren Under Fives will be holding a fun day on Saturday, May 20, from 1pm to 4pm, with plenty to see and do and lots of activities and stalls. It is an all-weather event, so if there's rain, it will go ahead under cover. Entrance is free!
HERE we go again! Just when you thought it was safe to use the Brighton Hill Roundabout again... roadworks are back at the roundabout, with lane closures and overnight closures of roads feeding onto the roundabout over the next couple of weeks.
The closures are to allow a non-skid surface to be laid. Apparently, this has to be done during good weather. It also will enable any problems arising from the works of a few months ago to be sorted.
