PARISH council: The council will meet on Monday, at 7.30pm, in the village hall.

Members of the public are welcome and the agenda includes a 10-minute break when you are permitted to speak.

The parish clerk can be contacted on 881420.

CLIFT Meadow open morning: Please make a diary note for May 20, to go to the Clift Meadow, where, from 10.30am, there will be sporting activities giving a good idea of the potential for making use of this village facility.

There will be tennis coaching, five-a-side football and a karate demonstration. You will be welcomed to the newly-refurbished pavilion, where refreshments will be served.

A CAMEL will be there: Have you made a date for June 17, when you can meet Ali, the camel, at Bramley church and CMS summer fair on the Clift Meadow.

The fair will be open from 2pm, with a host of stalls including books, plants, jewellery, cakes and toys. There will be a bouncy castle for the children, tea and cakes for the adults, a balloon race and many other attractions.

Contact Richard on 883635, Deirdre on 881373, or Claire on 883123, if you would like to help.

LITTLE Apples: Are currently fundraising to enable them to extend their play area and provide more secure fencing. They will be holding another of their ladies pamper evenings on May 19, at Bramley Village Hall. There will be professionals on hand to supply massages and manicures and also retailers with a variety of goods.

At a cost of £3, this relaxing evening out will also include a glass of wine and a free raffle ticket.
