FAMILIES enjoyed a storytime with a splash in Southampton.
Parents, carers and toddlers enjoyed floating away with books at The Quays Eddie Read Swimming and Diving Complex.
The event was organised by Sure Start Central - a government backed organisation that supports families with under fives.
Julie Greer, of Sure Start, said: "This is such a lovely activity for families and opens children's eyes to the pleasure of reading in such a fun way."
Southampton Library Service and Southampton City Council helped to organise the event.
