Lord Romsey's Longbridge Lake has been in fabulous form with numerous pleasure bags to 250lb in a day session.

Neil Hider from Netley took 16 carp from peg 18, including a 19-12 ghostie and a 17-3 mirror plus crucians to 1-4, roach to 1-12, bream to 2-8 and tench to 4-8 on ledgered prawns and cockles.

Tony Maddocks of Fair Oak had a great day on the canal with 14 carp to 12-0 12 crucians to 1-4 and more than 40 tench and bream in the 150lb haul taken on waggler and corn over pellet.

Dougie Irving of Redbridge fished legered corn and popped-up biscuit to land 22 carp to 11-2 plus eight tench to 5-8 along with roach and bream from the main lake while Andy Bell from Eastleigh fished peg 23 to land 21 carp, topped by a 19-5 mirror plus tench to 5-0 on cheese over 24 hours.

On the Isle Of Wight's day ticket Rookley Park, best fish of the week was Rosie at 33-0 to Greg Hooper. Gary Owen had a personal best 24-1 while Pete Cambrey also had a personal best with Shadey at 27-10, along with others at 23-0 and 22-4.

Ian Merriott took a 25-10 and Jason Clabon a nice brace at 26-4 and 23-4.

On the Island's syndicate venue, Blackwater, Ben Bradley had a 27-1 and a 26-4 common while another angler, known only as Justin, had four fish of 26-4, 26-6, 29-12 and 36-8.

Todber Manor's Carp Lake has been in good form with 32 twenties in the last three weeks, topped by a 27-4 mirror to Robbie Shearn. Mark Bastabie took six fish, including three twenties, to 23-8 in 48 hours while Steve Harding took 18 doubles to 21-0 in four nights. Adrian Meadow had a personal best with a 23-0. Boilies over pellet are proving best.

At Waldens Farm best carp of the week fell to Jamie Waters of Poole who had a 18-3 ghostie. John Begley of Salisbury had seven carp from Abbots Lake between 10-6 and 15-6 while Marc Wren and Rick Buss both took 15-0 carp.

On Monks Lake Stan Thrift took a 5-6 tench on corn while, on Deacons Match Lake, Rick Charton of Lyndhurst took 46-12 of chub and carp on caster.

Waldens Farm is included in the national 'Ten Tags' angling competitions and the marked fish have already been released.
