Champions Eastleigh & Otterbourne and much-fancied Locks Heath crashed to defeat in the second round of Hampshire League, County Division 1 matches.
Eastleigh lost by four wickets to St Cross Symondians, while an undefeated century by James Kennedy sent Locks Heath spinning to defeat.
Some indifferent bowling saw Eastleigh's 200-5 eaten away, initially by Alan Whitman (39). The champions claimed five wickets, but Nick Hamlin's half-century, aided by some lusty blows from Matt Hope (39), swept St Cross to victory.
Alex Adams (58) and Jon Richardson (59) hit half-centuries for Locks Heath, but an unbeaten 123 by Irishman James Kennedy steered Hursley Park II to a six-wicket win.
Andrew Hart smashed 119 as Bramshaw romped to a nine-wicket win over Lymington.
New Zealander John Hibbertson hammered 107 not out and veteran Martin Shephard took 5-24 as newly-promoted Waterlooville snatched a one-wicket win at Petersfield.
Hockey goalkeeper Dave Stanniforth hit a boundary-strewn 81 as Fareham & Crofton chased 217-5 to win by seven wickets at Flamingo.
Sarisbury Athletic were the day's highest scorers, running up 261-7 against Fawley, while South Wilts celebrated a second consecutive win, beating Portchester by 24 runs.
