Lymington are keeping their fingers crossed that Zimbabwe international Keith Dabengwa will shortly be available to boost their Southern Electric Premier League, Division 2 cause.

The 25-year-old left-arm spin all-rounder is due to return from the Caribbean shortly and has been pencilled in for his Lymington debut in Tuesday's Electric Cup clash at Paultons.

"Keith has been granted a visa, so we're just hopeful he arrives without any problems," said Lymington skipper Adie Hunt.

Dabengwa and teammate Charles Coventry - who is joining United Services - have been in the West Indies with Zimbabwe for a less-than-successful series of ODIs against Brian Lara's side.

Lymington, who beat St Cross Symondians last week, are boosted by the return of Bryn Darbyshire for tomorrow's trip to Hungerford.

Island Community Coach John Birchall is ruled out of Ventnor's trip to Old Tauntonians & Romsey.

But all-rounder Andy Whyte has made a quicker than anticipated recovery from injury and takes Birchall's place in an otherwise unchanged side.

Trojans have a triple boost on the eve of their visit to Havant II, with Jamie Donaldson, Jamie Wood and Mario Mohammed all returning.

But wicketkeeper Nigel le Bas is an absentee.

St Cross Symondians skipper Matt Perry-Lewis and opening bowler Richard Boote miss the tough visit to Purbrook.

But Hampshire's Jimmy Adams is expected to play, alongside Azeem Hamed, who suffered a serious injury playing for OTs & Romsey last season.
