TEST Valley Borough Council's new customer service unit has been criticised by a member of the public.
The post of customer service manager, with a salary of £47,000, was branded 'a waste of taxpayers' money' by Mr Geoffrey Wicks at the recent Andover Council-lors' Forum.
But council leader Ian Carr told the forum, held in the Guildhall, that the newly-created post was not a waste of money and was a key position.
