AN 11-year-old Appleshaw schoolboy has achieved national mathematical success after being placed in the top four per cent in a primary schools maths challenge.
Liam Nixon, from Appleshaw Primary School, was recently awarded a bronze certificate and a medal, on which he has since had his name engraved.
