Fareham Fireflys Junior Netball Club was officially launched with girls from school years 2 to 10 playing in a High Five's Mini Tournament at Brookfield Community School.
Teams were of mixed ages and abilities, making for an unusual and fun day.
Fireflys, sponsored by Peter Nash Specialist Cars of Warsash, have been boosted by a Fareham Borough Council grant to buy training netball posts and a Lottery grant to help towards the cost of their official black and orange kit.
Fareham Fireflys play in the Fareham and Gosport League on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at St Vincents College and enter tournaments throughout Hampshire during winter and summer seasons.
Any girls, or boys, interested in playing for the club are invited to a free taster session. Training Nights:

Wednesdays: 4.30pm-6pm at Neville Lovett, years 5/6 with Donna Mankievic.
