BEAULIEU Motorcycle World (MCW) will have plenty to appeal to those who like their action off-road. MCW is introducing a new area of fun this year, the Quad Village.

Quads of all sorts, including new releases and some very tempting bits of kit, will be on display along with all-terrain vehicles (or ATVs).

The collection and variety will be the largest outside of a dedicated show, to provide all you want to see along with all you need to know on these versatile machines.

The beauty of MCW is bikes running and moving, so naturally the quad demonstration at the grass circuit will attract great interest.

Do you like speedway and motocross or wondered what the sports are about and how to follow them?

They'll also be run at the grass circuit with top names in attendance.

Speedway stars will include Australian champions Jason Doyle and Craig Boyce, British No 4 Series rider Simon Wall, the Isle of Wight and Poole Speedways as well as outfits from the World Sidecar Speedway Series, 1,000cc sidecars and 500cc solo grass track racing machines.

Other highlights include the Waterside Junior Motorcycle Club giving demonstrations of trials motorcycling and pushbike trials, mini motos and youth motocross.

On display will be machines owned by Australian Champion Lee Adams, under-21 World Champion Antonio Lindbach and seven-times World Champion Tony Rickardson.

MCW takes place over the weekend of June 24 and 25 gates open at 10am on both days.

Ticket prices are Saturday adult £10.75, child £6.50, Sunday adult £11.75, child £6.75, reductions if booked in advance on the ticket hotline 01590 612888.

There will be a helmet park as well as acres of free parking.

Rather than see bikes fall to the ground on soft surfaces each bike is provided with a wooden square for the sidestand.
