THERE are just a few tokens left to collect to help your favourite finalist win the Daily Echo’s £6,000 School Build Challenge.

The final three tokens are printed today, tomorrow and Saturday, with just a week and a half left before the end of the competition.

There are 16 infant, junior and primary schools across Southampton and Hampshire battling it out to win three prizes of work on outdoor building projects thanks to construction firm Leadbitter.

With schemes ranging from a secure bike shed to a pirate play ship, nature hides to vegetable gardens, each of the schools is desperate for readers’ support in helping them see their dreams become reality.

Construction experts from Leadbitter will carry out works up to the values of £3,000, £2,000 and £1,000 at the three schools which receive the most tokens per pupil.

The total number of tokens per school sent to the Daily Echo by the deadline of May 17 will be divided by the number of children they have.

As well as the final three tokens in this week’s papers, bonus tokens can be downloaded from dailyecho.co.uk and will appear in today’s editions of our free sister papers – the News Extra in Southampton, Eastleigh and Winchester, and the New Forest Post.
