A WOMAN needed medical treatment for the effects of smoke inhalation after a house fire in Southampton this morning.
The alarm was raised just after 10am, after a blaze in the first-floor bedroom of a home in Ivy Dene, Sholing.
Crews from Hightown and St Mary's fire stations attended.
An ambulance was called and the woman, thought to be in her 40s, was treated at the scene.
