STUDENTS across Hampshire who are hoping to study engineering at university are invited to apply for a scholarship from the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
The institution has £30,000 of scholarships available for students nationwide who are about to start an accredited MEng or BEng degree course in the UK.
Students can apply for the awards after completing their AS levels or after finishing their A- levels.
Dr Alf Roberts, chief executive of the IET said: "We are urging students who are still to make a final decision on which course to study, or have been deterred by the perception of excessive debt, to apply."
The closing date for entries is August 11.
