EIGHT London Plane trees will put the finishing touches to Fareham's Market Quay scheme.
The trees are being planted in the car park and the cost is being covered by the Fareham Society to mark its 30th anniversary.
Fareham Council's executive member for planning and transportation, Councillor David Swanbrow, said: "The London Plane trees make a splendid avenue from Jubilee Gates through to Market Quay.
"They are also aligned to frame views from Market Quay though the arches of the railway viaduct towards the waterfront at Town Quay."
