A 15-year-old boy was injured after a hit and run crash as he crossed at traffic lights.
The teenager was riding his £300 red and white Barracuda bike home after visiting his friend, and was crossing at a pedestrian crossing when the crash happened.
Police say he fortunately only suffered minor injuries which didn't require him to go to hospital.
Now they are appealing for help to find the driver involved in the accident on Bitterne Road West at the junction with Lances Hill at 8.10pm last night.
Anyone who was at the location and saw or heard anything that could help identify the driver is asked to contact Bitterne police station on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity line anonymously on 0800 555 111.
