A MAN fell down a 20-foot embankment and ended up with his head stuck in a thorn bush after an unsuccessful attempt to tie his shoe laces.
The red-faced 41-year-old tried to free himself and shouted for help for 15 minutes before giving up and calling emergency services, this morning.
Shortly after midnight the man bent down to tie his laces at Rowner Road, Gosport, and rolled down the bank.
Fire crews removed his head from the bush and lifted him back to the road on a casualty board.
He was then taken to Queen Alexandra by ambulance with a suspected shoulder injury.
