CRIME, traffic problems, a lack of recreation facilities for teenagers and improved care for the elderly are just some of the axes to be ground by new Ringwood town councillor Terry Scriven.
Colonel Scriven has become a Liberal Democrat town councillor for the north ward following the resignation of Nicki Wood, and says there are lots of issues he would like to tackle in the town.
Colonel Scriven has lived in Ringwood with wife Jan for the past 12 years.
He was a colonel in the Royal Military Police before becoming chairman of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Learning and Skills Council in October 2004.
