A HAMPSHIRE street has been revealed as the most violent in the country.
Guildhall Walk in Portsmouth saw more violent crimes than any other road in England and Wales, according to a new crime map.
Despite being just 300-yards long, there were 38 attacks in the city centre road in December last year alone - three more than the next worst hotspot, in Milton Keynes.
The most violent road in Southampton city centre was Above Bar Street, where there were 13 recorded incidents.
Hanover Buildings saw a total of 47 recorded crimes.
The crime map has been launched by the government to allow people to see the extent of crime on their street.
Figures are broken down between burglary, anti-social behaviour, robbery, vehicle crime, violent crime and other offences.
