The Brit Awards are always a spectacle but Tuesday night’s award ceremony was rather special for Tinie Tempah.

The rap star picked up awards for British Breakthrough Act and British Single while Arcade Fire walked away with International Group and International Album.

Plan B won best British Solo Male Artist and Laura Marling won best British Female Solo Artist.

Take That were also victorious as they won in the British Group category for the first time, Mumford & Sons won British Album of the Year for ‘Sigh No More’ and Markus Dravs claimed the award for British Producer.

There were of course awards for international artists, and after she rocked the stage Rihanna won the award for International Female Solo Artist, Cee Lo Green picked up International Male Solo Artist while Justin Beiber won the International Breakthrough Act.

As well as Rihanna, Plan B, Mumford and Sons Tinie Tempah, Take That, Adele, Cee Lo Green and Paloma Faith all rocked the Brit Awards with their sensational performances.
