A MAN indecently exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl as she walked through an alleyway in a Hampshire town.

The victim was making her way between Magpie Lane and Falkland Road in Eastleigh when the man ran past her and committed the offence.

He did not speak to the girl and she was unharmed during the ordeal, on Monday at 4pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses and want to speak to a man and woman who were seen riding through the alleyway on bicycles at the time “as a matter of urgency”.

PC Mark Connor, of Eastleigh police station, said: “It is believed they may have information which could help police with their enquiries.

“The male cyclist was wearing a white T-shirt and is described as being tanned. If this is you then please get in touch.”

A 35-year-old man from Eastleigh has been arrested on suspicion of causing public nuisance through indecent exposure and has been released on bail until June 13.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
