CHEERS: Echo jackpot winner Brenda Fieldhouse with friend Pat Blackstock
A LUCKY pensioner who loves entering competitions is “in shock” after winning £43,000 jackpot in the Daily Echo’s Find the Ball contest.
Brenda Fieldhouse, 77, is over the moon after beating thousands of entries to win the star prize after paying just £3 to enter.
She said: “I just can’t believe it, I’m still in shock.
“I feel like I’m dreaming.”
Mrs Fieldhouse will use her winnings to get a Dyson vacuum cleaner and a ginger kitten.
