A 35-YEAR-OLD Hampshire man died yesterday following a single vehicle crash at Roeshot Hill near Christchurch.
The A35 was closed for four hours after a red Mini, travelling eastbound towards Lyndhurst, careered out of control and collided with a tree at 4.20pm.
The Mini driver, who was from Brockenhurst, suffered fatal injuries.
Witnesses are asked to contact PC881 Freeman at the Dorset Police Traffic Unit by phoning 01202 222222.
Police are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a silver car, that was also travelling eastbound in the direction of Lyndhurst.
The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.
