Now former Saints teenage sensation Theo Walcott and his girlfriend Mel Slade have opened their hearts to Hello magazine in a glamorous 13-page spread.
The loved-up couple, both aged 17, have even made the front cover of the glossy mag - an honour held by stars including the Beckhams, Brad and Angelina, Kate Moss, Sir Paul McCartney and Nicole Kidman.
They are pictured in a variety of poses - draped across each other, walking hand in hand and looking at each other longingly in fashionable clothing and with immaculate hair and make-up.
The article was written by Saints director Mary Corbett, a member of the famous Corbett family. Her late father John Corbett rescued Saints from financial oblivion in the 1930s.
