LOTTERY players could win a £1m prize by supporting a Hampshire charity.
The Jubilee Sailing Trust is one of the designated good causes that will benefit from the online charity lottery monday.
Since its launch earlier this year the prize draw has raised more than £1.25m for charities. Each week players pick their lucky numbers online and they get to choose which charity will benefit from the profits of their ticket.
Charities are selected for individual draws and today, the Jubilee Sailing Trust, which helps disabled people experience the adventure of tall ship sailing, is the chosen beneficiary.
For each of the five draws from September 11 to October 9, monday is offering players spending £5 or more an entry into its bonus free £1m draw. Each week a player who matches all six numbers in that draw will walk away with £1m.
Amanda Butcher, chief executive of the Southamp-ton-based charity which opened this year's boat show, said: "It is not just a great way of raising much needed unrestricted funds for our charity and the other partners, it gives you a chance of winning something in the bargain.''
