GIRLS at one Southampton school have made a colourful mosaic tracing historical periods from prehistoric times to the present day.
The year nine students at Regents Park Community College designed and completed the Local History and Heritage' themed design.
Recycled It is made out of recycled materials and colourful tiles, many of which were donated by Facchin Mosaics of Portswood.
The students researched the history of Southampton, as well as the history of their school in King Edward Avenue, before coming up with the finished product.
